Xavier Aptitude Mock Test
- Conducting Body: XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).
- Purpose of the Exam: It is a national‑level entrance exam for MBA & PGDM programs at XLRI and more than 160+ leading B‑schools across India.
- Exam Schedule: XAT is typically held in the first week of January every year.
- Mode of Examination: The test is conducted as a computer‑based test (CBT) in multiple cities across India.

Exam Sections (Main Paper):
- Verbal & Logical Ability: Includes Reading Comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and logical reasoning questions, usually around 30–36 questions.
- Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning: Scenario‑based caselets testing your judgment, ethics, and logical thinking, generally about 24–30 questions.
- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation: Covers arithmetic, algebra, geometry, modern math, and DI sets, typically 35–40 questions.
- Total Time Limit: The overall test duration is around 3 hours, requiring speed, accuracy, and smart time management across all sections.
